Do You Need IPAF Training To Use A Safety Harness?
In order to use a harness properly and safely you must complete an IPAF training course to receive the recognised qualification. Different harness equipment and MEWPs can pose different challenges when using both safely, so it’s essential that you have the correct knowledge to remain safe when working at height.
The half-day course will also detail how to properly inspect fall arrest equipment to ensure that it’s in full working order and safe to use.
Who Is Harness Safety Training Suitable For?
Those who are managers, supervisors and operatives of MEWPs should have harness safety training. The results of the IPAF training course will ensure that the candidate is able to accurately choose, inspect and wear a harness competently. They will also have a full understanding of the legislation associated with working at height.
